About Idle Spiral
What's Idle Spiral?
This is a beautiful "Idle", "Incremental" game based on spirals and mathematics. Your goal is to make the spiral grow longer and longer. The game is very simple, but it is very deep and can be enjoyed for a long time.
How to play
By buying upgrades, you can grow your spiral more efficiently. There will be a lot of mathematical equations, but don't be afraid. The upgrades themselves are not that strategic and you hardly need to understand this formula. However, as you continue to play, you will gradually come to understand the mechanics.
Layered prestige mechanics
The game has various reset mechanisms called Prestige (as seen in many Idle games!). Prestige resets much of the game's progression, but allow you to progress further and faster than before.
Battle Spiral
In Battle Spiral, your spiral is used as a weapon to fight various designs of spirals; to gain an advantage in Battle Spiral, it is important to consider what rewards to choose and in what order to fight the enemies. An extremely powerful boss with a very complex shape awaits you in the second half of the game!
Challenges
Challenges aim to achieve a specific goal under strong constraints. In challenges you will face debuffs, constraints, and fundamental gameplay changes while trying to achieve a certain goal. After reaching the goal, the challenge is completed and you receive big rewards.
Endless Content
Tornado Prestige is just the beginning of this game. It will take some time to progress through the game, but more content is waiting for you!

What Steam players say

Players appreciate the pure idle game design and satisfying spiral visuals, with some enjoying watching numbers incrementally grow. However, many criticize the extremely slow progression, especially early game where upgrades barely move the needle and players spend long stretches doing nothing, and note that the game shifts awkwardly from a spiral-focused incremental into a battle system that eventually overshadows the original mechanic, with poor balance making the initial spiral growth become trivial.
Good : A very purist idle game. You sit and watch and occasionally buy stuff. Bad : Compared to antimatter dimensions and cookie clicker, this one is far far more idling to playing. Stuff you buy in the early game doesn't really do much but change rate of increments by 0.1~1%. The price for prestige is 10^n. Also worth mentioning that upgrade costs go up very fast as well. I have spent my last hour waiting for 90 percent of the time and this was just the early game. Imagine how slow it will be later into the game. And I don't find the spiral be as beautiful and crisp as I expected as well. 1000 seconds of doing absolutely nothing is honestly not for me. Can't buy upgrades or it'll take longer, can't gamble enemy layout or it'll be unoptimized. I recommend it for what it is, an idle game. A true to its name.1 found this helpful
[Game received for free. This is a free to play game.] Recommended: No. The TL;DR: This is not an incremental game about growing the spiral. It starts as that, but is badly balanced, and the spiral becomes trivial. The entire game's focus changes to something unrelated to that spiral, unrelated to the incremental game of "make the radius bigger". The vast majority of the game is a "battle" game, where you are training up to fight nastier and nastier opponents. Early on, the best rewards improve your spiral growth, until the spiral is trivial and unimportant; after that, the best rewards improve your ability to fight. While there is still one major unlock that I have not gotten (there is space for one more entry in the help system, my last entry is for "loot and theory"), it does not change that this game is not about what is on the surface, and what is there ... just feels uninteresting to me. Now for some details. The "increase the spiral" part of the game has several prestige steps. The last of these -- Tornado -- is the major reset; all other progress is reset, and you get about a 2.5% improvement in everything. The target for the first Tornado is 1 billion (e9); each torn…1 found this helpful
I honestly dont understand why people like this game, the UI is terrible, everything is semi transparent so things just stack on top of each other and the game is already confusing enough as it is without a bad UI. No explanation of what the goal is or what anything does, terrible design
Spent 80 hours in this game. Multiple times I would come back the next day and I would have less than 1% of my radius from when I closed the game the previous game. No levels were bought in the background. The radius wasnt spent, it just vanished. Frustrating. Uninstalling and never touching it again
very spiraly
I like to watch numbers go up lol
