Infectra is a very poorly made console (Switch) ported low poly top down tower defense/block placement puzzle game. You're in charge of evacuating some kind space colony (it's hard to tell, the graphics are terrible). This involves putting down gates to filter out "infected" people who don't get to evacuate, turrets to protect people, and a landing zone the little lazy blue stick figures need to evacuate to. It seems like it might be a workable idea for a game but the technical execution here is terrible, so it's non-starter. Bonus fun: There's a bit of FMV which should brighten up the game a bit, except it was done by someone who apparently was never in front of a camera before. It's laughably bad watching someone with a Polish accent mumbling through lines. Remember in school when you had to do class presentations? They failed so hard they got kept back a year. But now look at them! People said they could never make it as a comedian, but who's laughing now??? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings.…6 found this helpful
actually really love this game, if more features were added and maybe challenge levels that would be that much better.1 found this helpful
A small-scale strategy game that gives you a lot of different tools and ways to approach problems. Okay polish, but good overall presentation. It's hard.1 found this helpful
Good game with some room for improvement, but it definitely has potential. The cutscenes are fantastic, with some fun references to old C&C games, and the voice acting is great. I'm looking forward to seeing new levels added in the future!1 found this helpful
Well, I've just had a 2nd attempt on the game and it was real fun. Despite relatively simple mechanics, it definitely ain't easy. Need to try at least few different approaches in order to proceed with your campaign ;) PS. The cutscenes are the best part, of course! Looking forward to buying Papersoft license as soon as it's available <31 found this helpful
good concept, badly executed
