I really hope they make another one. I appreciate the artstyle, it's got a definite charm in my books. The class/skill system is somewhat reminiscent of Etrian Odyssey, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. The races/classes are interesting, the voice acting is well done, and I enjoy the pacing of the game. My only small complaint is the XP scaling that resets every time you restart the game, which can be changed through the options menu. It feels like it extends the already fair amount of gameplay by causing a more severe level grind. That's just my opinion, though.

Decent DRPG that scratched the itch well, stumbled onto it by accident because whenever you look up a list of recommend drpgs it always seems to be the same ones so felt like taking a gamble. Gamble paid off, levelling feels fun and had a good time playing through.

Excellent game Many useful classes to choose from and a decent storyline. Solid 7 out of 10.

It's been a few years since I played this, so I unfortunately can't go into too much detail today, but it's a great dungeon crawl that deserves more attention. Mechanics are solid, the indie comics aesthetic is unique, and the dungeon is massive and hand-crafted. Underrated, and very deserving of your attention.

If you are a fan of dungeon crawlers or blobbers like Wizardry, Etrian Odyssey or 7th Dragon, then you will like this. But other than that, it's kinda mediocre. A lot of passion was poured into it like the character creation, the voice acting, the lore and the world building. But I can't help feel that it missed the mark. The balance of the game is one sore thumb for me. 1) Some classes are just... bad(Archaelogist, Technocrat). While others are giga OP(Ronin, Warlord, Shinobi/Kunoichi) 2) Bosses are pretty much immune to almost every status effect so there's no point into speccing to them. Unless you somehow manage to find that one super rare status effect(Dissease) and build on it. 3) Damage scalling is through the roof. You either one shot the enemy or they one shot you. Boss fights are even crazier. 4) I don't get how the game determine who moves first in a fight but it's almost never you unless you spend a team wide resources to do so. This means that the boss can simply one shot you before you even get some buffs on in the party. 5) The enemies can apply teamwide debuffs on your team too easily. It has been to long since I had a game like this that didn't come from the 1990s. This really hit the spot. Its a 1st person turn based dungeon crawler with voice acting and if that's your thing, you'll be very happy.
