Infinite Inside

My headset died due to low battery gotta love the quest 2 right? Game was fun and made it to chapter 5. I enjoyed every bit of it as its a pretty straightforward puzzle game. you get various parts for various shapes that you have to put together to unlock the next area of the chapters. Some cool concepts where you have to use parts to create a bridge to move to another area. If you want a simple puzzzle game to enjoy in vr id recommend this.

Well, the game is OK for ~$5. But it's very short. I played it like 2.5hrs. And the gameplay is very repetitive. Basically, only what you're doing is looking for parts and assembling it. It's like Steam Home VR extended map, but with sort of quest. The scenery sometimes is cool though.

Works on Reverb G2. This is a neutral review. Infinite Inside is polished and good looking, but gameplay-wise quite bland. Just like Form was back in 2017, except II's puzzles are slightly better, and campaign is at least twice as long. Exploration of the world is really enjoyable, thanks to its otherworldly environments and surprisingly good textures and lighting. Opening drawers of those miniature towers is also satisfying: they are very tactile with physical in-game hands. Movement with node teleportation feels outdated, but it is fine for an adventure game. Jigsaw part of the game is a bit weak, at least for someone who is not fan of that genre of puzzle. But Shores of Loci won me over, because I was putting together weird and unique looking objects. While here it's mostly just boring geometric shapes. There are some optional "secret" puzzles, but they seem to require more backtracking than I am willing to do. The game looks and performs well, soundscape is atmospheric, but spatial sound is imprecise

I've always loved themes involving the exploration of ancient, mysterious ruins, and this game happens to hit all the elements I enjoy! It's such a shame that the game is so short. I really want to know more about the story and its background. Who is that guy who keeps appearing? What is he searching for? Another thing I found a bit unfortunate is that you can't freely explore the scenes. You can only move around using teleportation orbs. I'm so curious about the actual location of the ruins. Why does it feel like it's set in some kind of heaven? There are so many unanswered mysteries. But still, I truly love this game.

This one is worth a go. Quick 2-3 HR VR Puzzle game. Puzzles are basically 3D Jigsaw puzzles, similar to the Japanese Wooden Box Puzzles. They are engaging, building in difficulty, but not brain busting. The movement, graphics, colors, art design, and stability of the game were all very well done. Everything popped really nicely on the PSVR2 headset, and ran well on a 3090ti. This game does not have locomotion, opting for a teleport to node system, but it is done well, and does not bother me in this game as much as it does in most others. The environments are extremely crisp, artistic, and visually interesting architecture wise, trending towards M.C. Escher style environments. While I enjoyed the game greatly, and it kept me well engaged during the playtime, I wish there had been more interaction with the environment. Like, where a change in a puzzle also changed the environment, or progress/movement in the environment was tied to the puzzle, similar to games like The Witness, Fisherman's Tale, or Cocoon. While playing the game, I kept thinking to myself "this would fit right in as a Myst level/age". A reinvention, or more creativity/variety in the puzzles with each stage, instead…
