Escape Room VR: Inner Voices

this game is total ♥♥♥♥, its unplayable, buggy ,everything u dont want of vr ,cant believe they release a game like that. if u want to throw ur money in a tash bin or just burn it u can also buy this game.

I am very sorry to say this, because I got the game for free from the developers, but this game is completely unplayable and total trash in its current state. I don't know if anyone even playtested this, it is so broken, it is really unbelievable. I wanted to give the developer a chance to fix this, but because they didn't answer my email about the problems with the game, I am going to write this review and list some issues with the game. Everything I am going to mention I encountered in 15 minutes or so. 1. The game is not at all playable with the Valve Index or the Index Knuckles Controllers. But even with regular vive controllers, the controls are totally broken. For instance, the hands are rotated wrong, like 90 degrees. Why? This doesn't make any sense, in Unreal Engine (the engine this game was programmed in) you could easily change the rotation of the hands. 2. The menu is awful and not working properly. Why make a menu for a 2D flat game, to use it in VR? Also, the settings are complete nonsens. You have settings like resolution (like the regular 1920:1080 stuff), v-sync, full-screen... for what are these settings, if this game is in VR? Also there is an issue with the soun…

While the ambient and graphics are nice, everything else is buggy or janky... Game looks interesting, but really its the lack of polish and "random" storyline or whatever makes this hard to recommend to anyone. There is no smooth turning, ok, but you cant snap turn while moving, you get stopped on your tracks, thats annoying. This is one of a couple of things that... while not game breaking are just a hassle to put up with... if that makes any sense. With a lot more polish it would be a very good game, if you put up with the annoying issues you might enjoy it, but seeing it has almost been 3 years since the last update, i cant recommend this one...

I highly recommend it if you are a fan of scary or puzzle VR games. Music and voic-overs make the game very atmospheric so I had gooseflesh ;)

The exact same thing as their other game: decent looking rooms, the rest of the game is filled with bad physics, puzzles, translations, and puzzles that are only difficult because of the bad controls. I finished this game and yes it's worth your time. Issues: I had a few crashes and snap turning ruins the experience. At first it seems that you turn around with no point but then you understand the mechanism. After all it is titled *escape room*.
