An action-adventure game in the style of Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon cartoons with elements of RPG, Beat 'em up, and Dodgeball for 1-2 players. Help animated drawings save a paper world from water monsters. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/g0XgrNkzRSM You can play solo or with a friend (local co-op or online via Remote Play Together). It's a shared screen experience. One player uses a keyboard and mouse, while the second player requires a controller. Ink Inside was originally written as an animated series for Nickelodeon, but was later converted into a game. The developers have divided the content into three parts and are planning a sequel. You explore an interactive, hand-drawn world as Stick and Traff. Between the narrative and cutscenes, you complete quests and battle in small arenas with water blobs (wet monsters). To defeat enemies, you throw cores at them like in a game of dodgeball, using various combos and items. As you progress, you improve your hero's stats, earn various pieces of equipment, and unlock new skills and special moves. + All handmade! + Unique visual style and art. + Stunning animation and voice acting. + Original music. + Live action cutscenes. …

If you love cartoons and feel like you need to work through some unresolved dodgeball trauma, this is the perfect game for you. The characters are so diverse, the voice acting is fantastic, and the gameplay is really easy to grasp; yet the battles can be a real challenge. Unfortunately, I have a terrible sense of direction and only played the game occasionally, so every time I continued my journey, I somehow didn’t know where to go or what to do - even though there’s a quest list and a map with markers for important locations. I think my problem was that sometimes you need specific cores to trigger cutscenes or enter certain areas, and the game either doesn’t tell you at all or only tells you once. So if you don’t have the patience to run back and forth until you figure things out again, it can be a bit frustrating. In the end, I completed the first arc at 90%, including all main and (almost) all side quests - I somehow still have 10% of the map left to explore and about 10 gifts to collect, even though I swear I’ve been everywhere. The only two quests I couldn’t finish were the one about Stick’s memories (which will probably be resolved in another story arc?) and the one with th…

I played this game lasts year, and despite playing other bigger games like Expedition 33 I CANNOT stop thinking about INK INSIDE. It's just a completely unique combination of things that grows on you the more you play it. The story, the characters, the gameplay. All really fun and more memorable than almost anything else I played in 2025 (at least for me). The game is incredibly deceptive (in a good way) in that what appears to be cute and simple on the surface, is actually deep and just gets deeper the more you play. S+ mode is going to be perfect to show off how deep the mechanics in this game can get, and I can't wait to be one of the first to beat it simply because I know how to block / dodge first for buffs before attacking >:)

We got to play couch co-op the full campaign and it was a blast. Easy to learn controls and the special moves are fun to use. The dodgeball combat is built upon very well as things progress with different cores (balls), perks, tools, environmental hazards and enemies. The dev team's prior experience making games really shows and it feels like a playable cartoon. The voice acting is great and the story is well written as a fun heroes journey with all questions being answered in a satisfying way at the end. The characters are lovable (looking at you, Traff) and full of personality. Check this one out! Here's our video review - https://youtu.be/6BUFizZZcY0
