About Interstellar Nomad
Venture into a calm, immersive journey across strange new worlds. This is not your typical high-octane action game. Instead, it's a unique, physics-driven experience designed for adult players who enjoy taking their time, exploring at their own pace, and getting lost in procedurally generated and handcrafted environments.Built by a solo developer from the ground up—including its custom engine—this game offers:
- Planetary Landing and Exploration: Land on planets, walk their surfaces, and feel the terrain through realistic, physics-based animation.
- Interactive Physics Systems: Enjoy dynamic cloth and soft-body physics and nuanced character interactions that bring life to the world in subtle ways.
- Atmospheric Storytelling: Meet memorable characters and uncover small stories that evoke the spirit of classic sci-fi, inspired by the more contemplative moments of Star Trek.
- Slow-Paced Gameplay: Relax, solve light puzzles, take in the view, and experience a world that doesn't rush you.
- A Personal Project: This is a labor of love. It's not built in Unreal or by a big studio—just one person driven by passion. Don’t expect cutting-edge graphics or AAA-level animation. This is a small, indie project with a focus on atmosphere, physics, and creativity—not visual spectacle.

Reminds me of KSP as far as craft control goes. Love the open world exploration. Not sure where to go after arriving at the beige planet with the purple mountains after using warp gate. Stranded there until I find a second plasma source and another warp gate.1 found this helpful
Push GO and it crashes So NO GO
It's boring, slow, and has no purpose. I wouldn't recommend it if you want to actually play, not just fly through space.
To the point I was able to get, looks like a VR intended game. You control spaceship. Not all controls explained by hint, in order to release "steering wheel" you have to right click. Takes long time to get to the destination, landing without any support and visual controls. You can not even clearly see your speed. As I understand, you ment to land on a platform. There is no save and landing on it takes an effort. I managed to do it after several attempts. But game crushed after and of cause save is not available. Had to repeat it again with the same result. Don't bother, even for free...
The most boring and frustrating 30 min. Made it to the mining platform then said nope once they asked me to fly to the moon. Didn't have another 2 hours to do a simple task. The flying is tedious the landing is even worse and the graphics are amateurish at best.
Very dissapointed so far. Both in the devolopers chioce in directions and the quality of this. Also it seems like the flight speed is so slow because if it wasn't there would be nothing to do.
