"iRobot Factory" is a fun game of waiting to see when iRobot annihilates this developer for stealing their registered trademark and using it without permission. It's an "educational" app made for iPhones from Germany. The substance is okay, but it's hard to describe this as a game.. you build simple mechanical robots and see if they can drive over a bridge or not, and other basic robotics challenges. This mobile app isn't making education better, but it does make gaming worse. This is a mobile app, made for app stores, not PC... it doesn't matter if this was ported to PC before or after the app store release, or even if this didn't even make it to the app stores. This was made for the most basic of all gaming platforms, the lowest common denominator for gaming, and it needs to be treated as such... it won't provide a high-end PC gaming experience. That fact by itself is plenty to disqualify this from being recommended to gamers on Steam. Nobody spends thousands on a high-end PC to pretend it's an iPhone and use their rig to play mobile apps and phone games. The graphics here are particularly awful, low poly minimalist placeholder stuff, so bad that it actually stands out a…
Fun Game, Sad it has a lack of attention. Loved Building a robot and puzzles were good, but i wish there was more, over all good game. 19m of play was enough not much here. i would recommend. 4/5
This game actually caught me by surprise and now It’s easily one of my favorites. Pros: UI is pretty intuitive and the tutorials are just helpful enough. The game is also simple enough at first to ease you into the insanity that your programming becomes. It makes the thought of getting into robotics approachable. The game itself is decently built, so it functions well Cons(?): little things. I wish there were more chapters and for SOME explanations to be a little bit in depth. Some Modules don’t seem helpful and it makes me think I’m using them wrong lol. when building, there isn’t a control to rotate blocks? Other than that. Great game
