Island of Lost Things

This game had me thinking I am following some sort of murder mystery. I started fact checking the names sh*t was wild, and the story was very sad and hit deep. Overall I had a blast playing it :)

i recommend it if you like story games its got bugs so be prepared for that. the only 3 real problems is that theres not a unstuck button and a way to quit or go back to main menu that i that i can see or figure out X didnt do anything like it said. the only other thing was that i cant turn the camera that i could figure out. its is good for a first game and i like that its wholesome and calming. i dont tend to play these games but gave it a try. keep at it. i would add a way to get unstuck tho just because its not hard to get stuck the 2 person you help on the way up you can just walk right off the ramp and fall behind the trees making you to close the game to restart.

Island of Lost Things is a small exploration game that caught my attention because it mixes a cosy setting with a story about death and letting go. I play as Eric, a spirit medium who is stuck between life and death, and my job is to help three lost spirits by finding objects connected to their memories. I am exploring an island, talking to the spirits and collecting things that help me understand what happened to them. It is a simple setup, but I like the idea of using exploration and small tasks to tell personal stories instead of turning everything into a traditional adventure game. The island itself is split into three different environments, and there is a nice amount of little stuff to do while I am moving around. I can dig, fish and catch collectables that are connected to memories, so I am not only walking from one conversation to the next. I also have Geisty, a small poltergeist that follows me around, which adds a bit of personality to the otherwise quiet world. The game has a fairly gentle pace and I like that I can take my time looking around instead of constantly being pushed towards the next objective.
