Island of the Lost is an adventure game where you're shipwrecked on a desert island and you need to find a way off while collecting treasure as you go. Fairly simple and so is the game... except the last level. Pros: Good animations 3D movement Simple controls Cartoon graphics (if you like that sort of thing) Simple puzzles for finding the treasure chests Cons: One giant pixel hunting game Cartoon graphics (if you don't like that sort of thing) Becomes monotonous after awhile The opening level of the game is very relaxing and lay-ed back but as the game progresses, it very VERY slowing gets a little bit more challenging. Nothing too difficult but by level 3, you'll find out that you can die in this game, however, the game will immediately place you on the nearest checkpoint, so, no big deal. The only issue I had with this game is that the game can become boring after a bit. Searching and searching and more searching for the treasures. On occasion, you may need help when searching for a location of a treasure that you can't find. That happened to me a few times but more often than not, I simply missed it because I was becoming bored. Then level 8 happened. Level 8 is on …

Yes, with reservations. The best thing about the game is the colorful graphics, and the playful way the developers put a convincing landscape together with simple components (or at least seemingly simple). I did feel, however, that I was going round and round without getting anywhere after exploring most of the game areas. It's hard to figure out what comes next, unless you accidentally discover a new detail. In addition to which, there is no save function. What you can do is select a level, that is go to a specific area of the island, but if you leave the level and then come back, you will have lost the items you picked up in your wandering and have to find them again.

Cute little game, beautiful graphics, relaxing music, enough fun content to explore without the game being too short or too boring/repetitive. Oh, and a lot of skeletons. Definitely recommend for fans of the genre (and skeletons).

Is a hard call. It is not a bad game but not having a map or a way to know where the stuff is - and the tedious restart/death system makes this game not fun at all. You cannot even save your progress and some achievements do not unlock. I had to restart levels multiple times to make the achievements pop. The price is too high foe what it is.

It's a wonderful game. Beautiful locations that feel good to explore, a very relaxing soundtrack, and a perfect amount of collectibles with some fun challenges. My only complaint is that it could use some control customization.

As a game to mindlessly spend a few hours in, this is alright. If you have any expectations in games and are older than 12, maybe don't play this. It's nice to look at for the most part at least, but there is basically no story, all you do is go around and collect things that could hardly be any easier to find and even the puzzles are laughably easy. If you are a child or you have a child from the ages 5-12, this game might be for them.
