I think this could be a great game in the future. However, right now, on Early Access release, it feels like Early Access and that's not good. Game has a ton of potential, however, it may not ever realize its potential. I would recommend only if you want to support development. I've never played a VR cooking simulation like this one. There's so many recipes. However, that's not the interesting part. The interesting part is getting all the ingredients. You'll hunt, gather, fish, farm in a giant open-world island. You have to stock up your restaurant. If a client orders an item and you don't have it in stock, guess what? You either go find it quick or you'll have an unhappy customer. It's a lot. I do wish that there was a more limited menu at the start. It's kind of crazy that customers will order items and you have no idea where the ingredient is on the island. It's just not worth it to go looking for it if you don't know where it is and some items don't show up until nighttime or when its rai…16 found this helpful
While I adore the concept, I just cannot recommend the game in its current state. The core, the ideas, and the mechanics are all there, but everything is implemented very poorly - almost every VR mechanic is janky and unpredictable. I can see that the game already has a lot of depth for a VR title (and it's currently the only game of such genre in VR), as well as a lot of creativity behind it. So I’m going to wait for better stability and bug fixes, because Isle of Food has a lot of potential. Also, a personal nitpick of mine - the sound design is lacking. It's kinda weird for a cooking game not to have boiling and sizzling/grilling sounds.9 found this helpful

Pretty fun game I enjoyed it. If you're into cute and relaxing VR games, you'll probably like this one too. It's still pretty obvious that it's in Early Access though. Fishing and cooking both have a fair amount of bugs, and some things still need polishing. Hopefully the devs keep working on it because the game has a lot of potential.2 found this helpful
Really cosy and fun. Its way more atmosperic and good looking than you would think. Love this game ;)
