About Jet-Story 2018
Jet-Story 2018 is 30th anniversary remake of 8-bit ZX Spectrum game. You are a pilot of a space battle capsule and your goal is to navigate underground caves and eliminate all alien bases.
Your ship has rocket engines for horizontal movements and for going up. Acceleration, intertia and gravity are dutifully simulated. There is no "down" control - if you need to go down, you have to let the ship fall. Activating motors requires fuel. Running out of fuel means death.
Underground caves are full of aliens and enemy machinery trying to block your progress and defend the bases. However, your spaceship has lethal firepower - plasma cannon, bombs and missiles will easily anihilate any opposition - IF you master how to use them.
WARNING: This is old-school game with old-school difficulty. Do not even try unless you are ready to die a lot.

Jet Story - 2018 is a remake of an ancient ZX Spectrum game from 1988. Gameplay is not dissimilar from the old Lunar Lander games as your ship fights gravity with jets and thrusters. Enemies and hazards abound, but your ship has an array of weapons to help you as you navigate the 2D retro maze. The remake is decent enough and manages to capture the spirit of the ancient game closely. The developer chose a blend of modern textures and retro/pixel looking art. The game doesn't terminate properly and hangs around as a process you must kill through task manager. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, which drops this below acceptable standards for a modern PC game, although the controls can be remapped. As the saying goes, you can't go home again. The developer has generously given this away for free, once more contributing to the wealth of the body of video games for all. While the general quality of a 30+ year old game isn't such that I could recommend people stop playing CS:GO for it, as it really only has appeal to fans of the ZX Spectrum, I hope the developer will go on and lend their considerable talents to more contemporary games.2 found this helpful

Эта составляющая добавляет игре стратегическую глубину и делает игровой процесс более разнообразным. Однако, оптимизация оставляет желать лучшего. На старых компьютерах могут быть проблемы с производительностью. Также, хотелось бы больше разнообразия в моделях самолетов и аэропортов. В целом, 'Jet-Story 2018' - достойный выбор для любителей авиации и экономических стратегий, несмотря на некоторые недостатки. Если вы готовы закрыть глаза на устаревшую графику и возможные проблемы с оптимизацией, то игра может подарить вам много часов увлекательного геймплея. Твёрдая "четвёрка".
