Story

Your shadow twin, Evil John, consumed by envy, has unleashed chaos across the realms. With his army of Evil Eyes, he has corrupted the land and caused genres to collide. Can you use your expertise in gaming to restore peace to the world?Features
  • Multi-Genre Adventure: Every level is different, thanks to Evil John
  • Rhythm-based Platforming: Everything moves in time with the music
  • Sword-based Combat: Includes "Bomb-based Combat" as well
  • Mouse-based Movement: Simply click where you want to go
  • Laser-based Gun: You shoot lasers... with a gun (that's it)
  • Multi-Phase Boss Battles: Take on Evil John in deadly fights
  • Humor: Maybe
  • Play as John: Arguably the most important feature

I didn't have any expectations for this game, but wow what a surprise. What I liked most is the slickness, like when you accidentally drop a soap bar on a downhill and it won't stop for anything in the world until you realize you've just done your daily cardio to catch that fleeing soap. For real now, what I meant was the controls, the transitions, basically the whole game is so smooth that it was a pleasure for my eyes. It was a bit too easy though, but that didn't ruin the game for me. Short and quirky, John's Quest awaits you. Go give it a try. Full gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pf6Wndhzq2o

Exceedingly charming and soulful. Sometimes all you need is a perfectly put together 30 minutes of pure entertainment to make a great game. Hopefully the dev got a good grade in his class, I would be a little disappointed if all this effort was for naught.

This game is peak, I would easily pay for a longer sequel
