Interesting conceptually but ultimately a shallow attempt at recreating Citizen Sleeper without understanding any of the aspects that made the game interesting. It attempts to offer the ability to create yourself visually through choice, and suggests that characters can be understood through their mosaics, but fails to both present enough variety of choice to truly play a character and show enough characters to allow the world to feel as we're told it is. The narration attempts to sell a world that is more visual metaphor than hard reality, yet fails to live up to the picture it tries to paint. Most damningly, unfortunately, is how little the game has to say. In terms of choice and plot, what exists is an extremely surface level commentary that reads more as someone trying to appear deep than actually having something to say about the world or humanity or anything. Beyond that, the dialogue is a bit stilted, there are occasional spelling errors, and several of the visuals lack the panache that the game attempts to imbue them with. I found these just noticeable enough to slightly slow the flow, but not significant enough to matter. I'd give this one a pass, unfortunately, thoug…

It got incredible world building, vivid storytelling and the most fascinating artistic direction! What an experience!

The Citizen Sleeper gameplay is great I'm glad to see it in more games. Add an original story and visualisation and you have a great little game. Recommended.

Dope lil game

Pretty enjoyable short story game. Art style and setting is superb! Nice replayability for achievement hunting as well. 8/10

Interesting branching dialogue game. The plot is simple, you are a faceless, a person with no past, thrust into a red world of gore and viscera, the people of this town are composed of their striking characteristics in life, they are a collage of their sins and strongly held beliefs. (There's a helpful fisherman who plainly explains the mechanics of the world). You learn of the world, how it works, and the central antagonist the church which wishes to maintain control of this world. You as the faceless must decide whether your beliefs are to save the town or leave it. It's a poetic and beautiful game.
