[b] Katana Dragon [/b] is an action, adventure and dungeon exploration RPG with hack and slash combat and puzzle elements. It is presented very nicely with an oriental atmosphere enhanced by a great oriental soundtrack and visually pleasing voxel graphics. The elephant in the room is that this is only Part One of the series and I could not find out for sure what the business model is for part two. It could be a paid DLC or it could be free to owners of part one. It would be nice to know because it is difficult to form an opinion on the game without this information so I would kindly invite the devs to comment with their future plans for this title :) I've played enough of the game to get a good feel of the mechanics and it is an enjoyable game to play with some mildly challenging combat and puzzle elements. Combat is hack and slash in nature with a dash and the ability to upgrade your weapon and stats with dragon gems and cursed seals. You have three slots for both and can upgrade your attack, defence, ki, and health by inserting dragon gems. They come in different guises and power so choose the ones which fit your play style. Such a cute game, really well made! Firstly, the graphics are phenomenal! Amazing job, the game feels well put together and has great controls. The combat is pretty basic, and the puzzles are quite easy, but this is still amazing, I hope this can get more attention. Bravo!

Pros: Unique art style and cute characters. Cons: A lot of bugs for a game that is not in early access. The characters noises are also get really annoying after a while. If it's on for $5, why not. Any more, then no.

A delightful voxel action RPG with charming visuals, satisfying puzzles, and engaging dungeons. The lack of achievements and sudden "end of chapter" without warning are frustrating. Still, a promising start for an otherwise fun adventure.
