Keepers of the Keep

It's a really good game. The storyline is engaging and the artwork is captivating. In the game you can chose to be either a female leaning or a more masculine leaning thief (but this doesn't influence your choice in pronouns). The one you don't chose becomes a character in the game. The game's mechanics are really simple and easy to get (kind of a dnd style with two d6 that determine how well your interaction is going to go). The romance options are really diverse and all of them have their own unique storylines. I would really recomend this game for someone who seeks an intriguing story with some plot twists and really good character growt, as well as a good romance system and interesting art and mechanics.

As someone who played the heck outta the demo and watched the development of the game pretty much from the jump, I am SO EXCITED to see how this game finishes!! I really enjoy all the characters. I was able to support the game on kickstarter [fully funded, just so everyone knows, ehehe], and I'm,,,, just so ready to See More Content for some of the characters. ESPECIALLY some of the gals [i.e. Elgin]. I enjoy the gameplay cycle and feel like there was a lot of work put into make the rolls tricky WITHOUT the game being totally impossible. Also-- the fact that there's literally critical successes and failures for almost every roll is sorta wild. The game was made by a single person/ developer, too, which makes it so much more impressive to see JUST how much content is available and how replayable it is. I'm gunna keep playing it and will update my review as time goes on, but just like... so stoked to see this game happen!

I played the demo and absolutely fell in love with my main man Mango. Got the game as soon as I could when it released. The story is interesting and the characters are all very cool!!! I love all of their designs so much. I absolutely cannot wait for the next chapters. I also really love the choose your own backstory elements in this, I hope there is more of that in the future chapters! Lost all of my coins and tokens in the arcade. 10/10.

I was late for work today because I didn't wanna stop playing. So glad this popped up on my radar because judging from the number of reviews so far, it's not getting NEARLY enough traction. I love games of this genre, but because of that I'm always trying them out and being disappointed. I played the demo for Keepers of the Keep with expectations low, and what I discovered was a cast of three-dimensional, layered characters, an equally layered unlikely (and unwilling) protagonist of the story, and a world that I look forward to spending a lot of time in. The music isn't very memorable but the art is top notch. The gameplay itself is simple yet fun. But the real draw for me is the story and characters. And there are possibly some nods and other little things that remind of other works like One Piece and My Hero Academia. (But I could be wrong!) That said, the character designs feel very original and fresh. Keepers of the Keep is a hidden gem, one that I hope KINJAKO will keep polishing with love and care. Thank you for making the game!

The story is good so far and the characters are SO well designed. It's lovely to see a really diverse and hot cast, which is what pulled me in. And every new NPC I meet is an absolute JOY to meet (particularly Valentine's friends). I will say the dialogue is a little wordy for my taste, it takes quite a long time to get through the into. But it's fun to run the store and do my daily tasks. Can't wait to see more chapters as development continues. P.S. I am gutted I cannot date the snake haired character from what I've seen, but I will recover.

I was able to play this game as a beta tester and even though this game is still in early access, it's a lot of fun to play and I'm already invested in all of the characters' stories. I can't wait to see how they play out! The dice-roll and skill-building systems definitely give it a D&D-esque feel, and the content is still great even if luck isn't always on your side. The art style is really cool and the character designs and personalities are fun and unique. I look forward to playing more as the game continues to be developed!
