Game is actually very good, its a refreshing typing game very unique and fun. Love the rpg elements in this game. Developer was very quick to address and good communication about certain bug in the game

I've only played for about half an hour so far but I can already tell I'm in for a really fun experience. Keybreach starts off as a fairly calm typing game but the deeper your run goes, the more it turns into a balls-to-the-walls, frantic and incredibly fun experience. It seems pretty easy at first, but as you progress the game keeps introducing new mechanics to increase the challenge: words become anagrams, you're sometimes asked to type long sentences and occasionally letters are represented by various symbols. It can feel a little unfair at first but the unlockables and items you acquire throughout a run do a great job of balancing things out, making progression feel consistently rewarding. Another thing that's important to me is the music. The soundtrack perfectly matches the frantic pace of each run without becoming distracting and it fits the game's overall atmosphere really well. It does an excellent job of supporting the fast-paced gameplay. As I mentioned before, the game contains far more unlockables than the in-game achievements would suggest, which gives you a strong incentive to keep playing. All those years of computer typing tests pays off when you go to play this game. I love the sense of urgency you get in this game. I love the retro feel, I love the concept, and I absolutely love the challenge. Definitely recommend this game to anyone looking to test their skill in typing. Would not recommend pulling your eyes away from the screen lol.

This is a fun and enjoyable spin on a typing game. I'd definitely recommend it, it deserves more attention! Not to mention that $5 for what you get from this game is well worth the money.

Edit to Dev Response: 6.7/10 The amount of characters and bosses is nice to see, but it also leaves this weird feeling around skill, and how the original content isn't very fun. Press space between each letter seems to be one of the "special" bosses but unless you've poured hours into the game already, your skill level doesn't matter during these boss fights because you will be met with just barely not enough time, forcing you to play longer to upgrade and hope to avoid those bosses. Don't roll death bosses and you will win. Each 3x upgrade is about an hour of grind maybe? Factor in the pages of other 5x or 10x upgrades. The grind on the way there doesn't seem fun enough to justify the length when the method for getting a good run would be to avoid content entirely. I'd play on the easier difficulties to avoid those death rolls but with how limiting the word selection becomes, it just becomes tedious grinding those first 10 round words, and when it gets to the point where I'm avoiding the original content, I'm just gonna eventually look into other typing games.
