I was really excited for this adaptation. However, I had to request a refund for it because on the very first session of pass & play it bugged out and didn't let us continue playing and we were 1 turn away from finishing the game. Big shame. If the developer is interested, maybe this can help you replicate the bug and potentially fix it: It was a 1v1 pass & play session with no additional controller on steam deck oled. I laid my tile down and before I ended my turn I clicked on my opponent's profile to see her kingdom, but when I returned to my kingdom my tile wasn't there anymore. It was back in the selection area, and except for clicking the end my turn button I couldn't do anything so I clicked the button and nothing happened. I restarted the game and when I resumed it the only thing visible on the screen was the clouds. Tried again but no luck. If such a crucial bug exists I expect there to be more issues, so I cannot recommend this unfortunately, I may consider coming back to it, but not anytime soon.

I bought this thinking that lost kingdom "mode" was a singleplayer campaign with custom rules for each game like every other board game app that has decent singleplayer support. Instead, it's a mobile-style battlepass with daily quests to unlock cosmetics. There is no satisfying singleplayer mode to be found.

A simple board game that anyone can learn. It's relaxing and fun to play with a friend. The graphics are just VERY janky, and it's connected to the mobile game which feels very 'mobile'-y. If you find it on a sale and want a quick board game to play with friends, then sure. But I wouldn't normally. Maybe just get it on your phone? Finished? - Steam Achievements? Absolutely no. Steam Deck? Worked well. Rating? 6.5/10 My curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45865425-CozyAriGames/ Full videos on Youtube.

Kingdomino demonstrates that compelling strategy games do not need overwhelming complexity to leave a lasting impression. Adapted from the acclaimed tabletop title, this digital version transforms the familiar experience of placing domino-shaped tiles into a polished and inviting adventure that feels equally suited for newcomers and veterans of the board gaming scene. Developed and published by Meeple Corp, the game places players in charge of constructing a prosperous kingdom from a modest starting castle, carefully selecting and arranging terrain tiles to maximize their final score. Every meadow, lake, forest, mine, and wheat field contributes to a larger puzzle that becomes increasingly satisfying as the kingdom takes shape. The game's central mechanic is deceptively straightforward. Players draft tiles from a shared selection, but the order in which they choose carries significant consequences. Claiming a particularly attractive tile may mean sacrificing priority in the next round, forcing players to constantly weigh short-term rewards against future opportunities. This simple risk-and-reward system gives every turn purpose and creates a surprising amount of tension despite th…

It's a faithful recreation of the board game. Some annoying extra clicks could be removed (e.g. "Continue" at the end of the game or even "Start" at the start).
