About Kitsune Tails

Play as a young female kitsune, one of Inari's fox-eared and bushy-tailed messengers, and embark on a hero's journey that begins while delivering your first message. Go on a date with a kindly sorceress who came to your aid in a time of need. Explore the complicated relationship with your childhood friend turned antagonist and uncover her reasons for sealing your love interest inside an elemental prison. Unlock powers that manifest as cute outfits to help you run, jump, and dash across a land inspired by Japanese mythology in Kitsune Tails, the follow up to Super Bernie World.

FEATURES

  • Explore five elemental worlds and various haunted houses

Leave SMB3 out of the fridge for way too long and then sink your teeth into it.

great visual aesthetic but in gameplay it just feels like mario but less intriguing and really sluggish/unweildy, powerups appear a lot less and all the secrets i found always only lead to coins, no warps or secret collectibles, i just feel like theres a lack of adventure.

I'm really enjoying this game (just entered world 4). It's a really fun retro styled platformer - the mario 3 influence is clear, It is hard but not unfair - you don't die from poor controls or poor design and it rewards improvement and practise. I often find hard games boring as I dont have time to grid on and on but this isn't like that. It has a really nice option for difficulty levels so you can easily tune it to how you like to play and can swap difficulty profile at any point which is a great touch It runs on a very basic PC too - both windows and linux. Supports steam cloud saves. All in all, highly recommended

Old-school platformer with a cute story, fun mechanics and a lot of polish.
