Labyrinthian Lockdown is a Tower Defence based game that revolves around a Labyrinth that suddenly broke through the surface in a village in the Kingdom of Klondor and now dispenses forces from within in an attempt to claim the land around it's entrance. The Labyrinth will change upon each and every delve, never being the same as previous entries.

Dive into the Labyrinth and protect the Kingdom by defending your Mana Crystal as it is what powers your means of defence that being the power of the elements, one means of defence will be your towers, each one capable of manifesting an elemental projectile allowing you to defeat your foes, another one being the ability to summon units from the Militia from the surface that are mainly used to slow down the enemy while the towers handle the damage, lastly the spell scrolls that have a chance to drop from enemies may be a game changer if applied correctly.

A very challenging tower defence that doesn't hold your hand. It takes a bit to get used to the game and placement of towers but its strangely addictive. The game has also been receiving a lot of patches . Has an old school or retro look to it.

starting the game it has a nice HUD and was easy to navigate the game ran a little slow in later levels but ran fine in the early stages. liked the art style and as i said the HUD and skill tree menus were well laid out and easy to understand. played the first round and got to level 5 and upgraded a few bits fine. second one i played i think i placed a few towers and lost the ability to upgrade but still placed enough towers to get to level 10 had to use the ice towers to slow the fire does more damage after the ice had slowed as well which helped. got to level 10 n upgraded again then to 15 with the same bug of after so many towers placed i lost the ability to upgrade or use the guard overall enjoyed the game though will try again tomorrow and looks like a fun game moving forward with a number of patches this game will be great ill be keeping my eye on it

Not sure why this is on sale, clearly unfinished. A lot seems broken, (I posted a screencap showing one thing) The balance is harsh, can't get past wave three it seems, the monsters just walk all over me. Everything seems very expensive, and the upgrades I can afford don't seem to make any difference. Three towers so far, six total I think, no clue how long to unlock one of the others. A big deal is made out of the random labyrinth maker, but it amounts to nothing, you have to build all your towers right by the exit or they don't get to shoot at at least half of the foes. No pathing, no targetting, no fluff, no tactical actions, and as mentioned, the strategic upgrades are so expensive I can't imagine playing enough games to reach one of the them. And this was all on Casual? I got it in sale, but in it's current state, even free would be too much. Three thumbs down. AMENDMENT: Okay, turns out there is a tactical action you can take, they come from dropped scrolls. Previously they vanished before you can click on them, but since the last update they hang around a little bit.
