It's colorful and pretty. And it's also super simple, boring, and has controls that make no sense for this type of a game. Imagine Asteroids with WASD controls to move, so even if your triangle ship is pointed up, hitting the A key slides you left and the D slides you right, still facing up. ..This game both looks and feels WRONG. I don't know if the developer just got lazy and didn't want to make a proper control system but like I said, it just doesn't make any sense. Now imagine tons of flashy pretty graphics covering up an overly simplistic game where EVERYTHING, including the asteroids just home in on your x and y position. While everything has different colors and designs, it all does exactly the same thing at almost exactly the same speed.. it just homes in on you. Zzzzzzz. I typically love these types of games, but this game is nothing but a lot of colors and flash with zero substance and awkward controls that can't be changed in the controls option menu by the way. Spend 99 cents instead of $9 on this recently launched space blaster for a much better game with much better controls.. as well as a game you can play local multiplayer as well... https://store.steampowe…9 found this helpful
Laservasion is a laughably bad, unabashed ripoff of Asteroids (Copyright: Atari, 1979). The game features 1979's vector/line video, which is a terribly lazy cop-out, and it's unclear if the poorly done visuals here are due to lack of talent, budget, or both from the developers here (who normally make mobile apps, so they're not serious developers or interested in gaming for the benefit of gamers). The technical exection is a mess, resolution is locked and can't be changed. There's an ugly screen filter, chromatic aberration, and screen distortion... there's options to turn some of that off, but they don't work! Talk about incompetence. I remember when developers tested their software before dumping it on Steam. The game is also very badly optimised and chugs like crazy, probably due to the gameplay being "synced" to the soundtrack, which is a godawfully terrible idea. So this plays a lot worse than 1979's Asteroids and is generally worse in all respects. Which is why the developers are charging an eye watering $5 USD for this garbage. At least we can all have a laugh about that.6 found this helpful

Visuals are great, and it was really nice to see the graphics change and flourish as you level up! Nice relaxing take on this kind of game, and quickly becomes challenging :) I actually liked the WASD controls, feels natural for PC. A few good game modes to keep you occupied!2 found this helpful
I really like the Asteroids feel to this game! It's quite a bit of fun to play. The sound effects are a bit repetitive, but the fix for that is just an option away. I am definitely going to be playing this for a while.1 found this helpful
