About Let's Freeze Some Penguins
Now you're thinking with penguins!
Northern Bear is crawling with penguins! The Emperor Penguin is moving his minions north of the arctic circle, and it’s up to Walnut the Walrus and Noklas the Narwhal to freeze them in their tracks! Use Walnut’s Walrus Wind to freeze penguins into ice-blocks. Use the ice-blocks to build new paths, stairs, and bridges! This simple concept is the foundation of a whole adventure of puzzling predicaments.- Over 50 puzzle levels
- 3 worlds and a bonus world
- Spike-balls, treadmills, elevators, and many more puzzle elements
- Collect 3 Fish Medallions per level to unlock new areas
- Collect message-bottles with letters from Walnut’s missing parents
- Defeat the dreaded Emperor Penguin and stop his invasion!
- Music by Karl Rosqvist

✦ AI summary
Players appreciate this action puzzle game as a strong spiritual successor to Kickle Cubicle with solid level design and challenging gameplay that appeals to fans of the genre. The main criticism is that the game lacks visibility and marketing despite its quality, with reviewers noting it's been overlooked and deserves more attention from both the developer and potential players interested in indie action puzzles.
Someone dared to make a spiritual sequel to one of the best action puzzle games on the NES, the criminally overlooked Kickle Cubicle, and I'm so here for it. That person is Neckbolt, the dev behind the fantastic Alruna series (the second which I'm still making my way through, it's tough keeping up with all the great indies these days). It's really too bad this game fell through the cracks because it's really fun. You gotta find some more advertising methods, Neckbolt! Indie devs just dropping their fun games into the æther without trying to get any attention on it I'll never understand. I shouldn't be the first reviewer for this game even after a price drop. Anyways, pick it up if you like action puzzle games, DEFINITELY pick it up if you're a Kickle Cubicle fan like me, and while you're at it go buy the Alruna games if you like Metroidvanias.1 found this helpful
