Let's Go Nuts! 2

i hope whoever made this pile of buns always has a warm pillow at night.

I usually prefer bigger and more ambitious squirrel games, but I can leave a couple of thoughts here too. Good nuts: - Cute squirrel with funny voice - Easy gameplay, playable with one hand - Graphics and music are fine - Achievements with pretty icons - Interesting idea with pushing dozens of boxes around to move forward Not very good nuts: - The game doesn't motivate you to collect stuff, you do this just... because - Second world is much harder than others because of auto-scrolling parts - Inadequate hazards (how the heck these meerkats damage me, they're smaller than me!) - Boxes don't respawn, so if you've broken a pile and missed something above, you have to restart - The "final boss" and ending are a joke, could use a few drawings like the ones in the intro Overall, a small game for a small price. Such adorable protagonist deserves more that this, but that's that.

Let's Go Nuts! 2 is a very generic platformer, but it does have a hypnotic simplicity to it. It's generally very easy, kind of like if Conker on N64 got made into the 2D Crash Bandicoot sections and all the vulgarity got sucked out of him. To fully beat each stage you must collect 500 regular acorns and 2 golden acorns. You must also finish within the time limit. There are a couple other minor achievements for beating a stage in each world without dying and collecting a cumulative number of acorns. I enjoyed it specifically because it soothed that "collectathon" itch in my brain, but but if you don't have that then this is worth skipping. I also liked the physics on the boxes and liked pulling some trick shots where I knocked a box in the air and used it to sequence break certain areas. Definitely for kids, casual gamers or collectathon afficionados (If such a thing exists).

The visual style of Let’s Go Nuts! 2 is immediately inviting. Every level bursts with bright colors and playful animation, creating an atmosphere that feels like a Saturday morning cartoon brought to life. This just wasn't my type of game. It should be tagged as a casual game. It seems and feels like the type of game I might play for free on Armor Games if I had nothing better to do all day.
