About Link The Cubes

Link The Cubes is a relaxing Top-Down puzzle game with cute little cubes. Your goal is to move the cubes to the portals to free them from the levels.

Gameplay

You control the main cube and connect to the other cubes in the level to move them all together. If one of your connected cubes is blocked, the others can't move either. Try to get as many cubes as possible to the portals.

With more and more cubes saved, you can explore the game world further and unlock more difficult levels!

Features

  • Control one or more cubes at the same time
  • Reach the portals to unlock more levels
  • Tricky puzzles with different obstacles
  • 100 playable levels
  • Cute little cubes with character

I tried really hard to draw a large cube in the review box for this game. Since Steam won't let me, here's a small one in protest: ⬛

I'm really excited. Would recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle games. Once you start you don't want to stop. The levels are challenging but not impossible. Definitely worth the price.

Great tiny puzzle. The first half may feel a bit easy for puzzle veterans but it will prepare you for the later levels, which are nice headscratchers. Played on Steam Deck with no issues! :)

It's a nice puzzle game. Kinda like Portal but without the third dimension and story. I see great potential for a second part where they could introduce more mechanics (like portals). The puzzles come in two stages: Get to the exit with the main cube and get to the exit with all cubes - with the latter being more difficult. As of now, it took me about 10 hours to get all 100 puzzles done with all the achievements, but the second half of 5 hours was only me stubbornly trying to solve the last four puzzles. So overall, if you're not as stubborn as me and can live with some puzzles not perfectly solved, I'd say it offers about 6 hours of logic puzzles. If you're into that, it comes at a very fair price. :)

A fun little game! I ended up spending way more time on it than I thought I would. For the most part just some casual fun, but some of the later levels get quite challenging. Some of the mixed levels (which are the hardest) had me frustrated for a while, but that made it even more rewarding when I solved them. I think I spend at least 1/4 of my playtime on 4 or 5 levels, that were just much harder than the rest.

This game is very fun, I enjoyed playing for a bit then taking breaks. The hub world was a cool design, and it was nice to be able to skip levels I was stuck on and go back later, especially if it was just the blue cubes I wasn't able to figure out. I do think some of the puzzles are too easy with some others are really difficult, so it felt a bit random at times. Overall I definitely think this game is worth the price for people who enjoy puzzle games like this.
