It's just a train wreck, a bunch of stolen Unity assets slapped onto a barebones third person shooter game template with a nasty toxic cash shop in it. Disgusting. This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. I have owned prison architect for quite some time, I have followed it since alpha 8 or 9 even. Since then I have seen the game improve and expand, travelling in many directions to fill the void that the content hungry community had made. Since the very beginning the devs have always listened to the players, with many of the features seen in the game being requested by the community. Many people claim to encounter game breaking bugs and stupid events. While I cannot talk for the people who do actually encounter game breaking bugs, I can say that if you don't want to encounter stupid events that result in the downfall of your prison... Please do turn events off. The game features a campaign that in a way acts as a great tutorial. Originally, I was torn on whether I agreed with adding in a campaign to this sort of game. But the devs were able to incorporate it so smoothly, it generated enough interest within me to play it. The main feature of this game is a sort of challenge sandbox, where you are free to design a prison to your exact liking. This isn’t all willy nilly however, as you are challenged with a very exact budget, forcing you to also manage your financial situation while b…
