Rather than simply retelling a well-known story, it builds upon the legacy of Goldilocks in a way that feels more mature and character-driven, setting the stage for a journey that is as much about uncovering truth as it is about solving puzzles. The game places you in the role of Goldilocks’ son, a protagonist burdened by the weight of his mother’s legacy. In this version of events, Goldilocks was not merely a mischievous intruder but a figure tied to a larger, more dangerous history involving enchanted beasts and unresolved conflicts. As mysterious attacks begin to plague the region, the story unfolds with a steady sense of tension, blending personal grief with a broader mystery that gradually reveals hidden motives and long-buried secrets. Unfortunately, I found this game leaning toward click-to-win with very few puzzles offering even the slightest resistance. That and the story were worse toward the beginning and improved as they went on. On the plus side, it has a novel mechanic and actually makes use of it throughout the game. I had one crash to desktop at the end of a puzzle, but I was able to restart the program and finish the game + bonus chapter. I can't say I had a lot of fun, but at least I got it on deep discount and the art is gorgeous. I have two other games in this series and hope they're better since people seem to have a lot of love for them.
This is an excellent game, you can tell the makers put heart & soul into it. There's alot of attention to detail, interesting puzzles & solutions. It also has a captivating storyline set in a beutiful midevial-themed world. Nice sound effects & music throughout. Definitely one of the better titles out there.

A bit disappointent the game crashed.
Great artwork, interesting story, decent length and very enjoyable game play make this title worth recommending. As always, wait for a sale. :)
