About Mad Frost
Welcome to the world sketched on squared paper. The world full of adventures and unexpected meetings. Holidays are just around the corner! And our hero is waiting for them so much. But everything is not as simple as it seems...
Somebody has made a decision on no presents this year, but obviously you can't agree with it! Reach the "villain"'s lair and make things right.
Mad Frost is a platformer with the elements of a puzzle.
A sketched story is waiting for you! Each object including the main character is sketched on squared paper, taken a photo of and made alive with the help of Unity. Hundreds of paper sheets, dozens of writing and sketching materials. Everything is for you to enjoy the game.
Are you ready to save the holidays?

✦ AI summary
Mad Frost is a meme-filled platformer with appealing sketch-style artwork, but players consistently criticize its poor controls, janky animations, and frustrating gameplay mechanics that undermine the experience. While some appreciate the absurdist humor and art direction, most agree the game relies too heavily on pop culture references to compensate for weak writing, inconsistent visual polish, and overall awkward design that makes it difficult to recommend.
Mad Frost is very simple platformer with few puzzles and filled with memes. Yes there are plenty of memes based content (you will find stormtroopers, Uganda Knuckles and few other ridiculous references). However gameplay is poor, frustrating and just weird.
PROS
Art. Yes this game has nice art throughout all game. It is sketch type visuals, everything looks nice. There are some copy paste work in some levels but I think everything was made good enough. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1396922935
NEUTRAL
Soundtrack. It is not bad in Mad Frost, however after few minutes it becomes boring. Story. Mad Frost barely has any story, but it is hilarious. Story doesn't make sense at all but makes you smile (mostly ending bit).
CONS
Controls. You need just few buttons and mouse in this game, but developers got it wrong somewhere. Carrying items with mouse just bad and unresponsive. All game doesn't feel right. Gameplay. Frustrating. That would be single word I would use to describe Mad Frost gameplay. Till you get to last boss it is just boring and once you reach boss you will think, oh…4 found this helpful
This is so bad, I can't even find proper words. Controls, animations, sound design, graphics, plot, dialogues... Stay away from this pile of art!1 found this helpful
A nightmare. Janky, awkward, barely functioning, possibly copyright infringing. Plenty of pop culture references to fill the void where it's own writing should've been. The art style has no coherence: some locations are very detailed, some seem like they were drawn in a minute under pressure. First time playthrough: 1 hour 2/10
