MADiSON VR

Played this game for a grand total of 13 minutes. After 5 minutes, my soul left my body and my pants followed shortly after. I haven’t known peace since. Highly recommended.

[h1]Recommended, but with a massive caveat[/h1] [b]MADiSON VR is probably the scariest horror experience I’ve ever had.[/b] Movies don’t come close. Haunted houses don’t come close. The atmosphere, anticipation, jump scares, sound design, and psychological horror are incredibly effective. I genuinely don’t think I could play this game alone. The developers understand horror extremely well. Some of the best scares aren’t even monsters jumping at you. Objects move when you aren’t looking. Something that you’ve become comfortable seeing suddenly changes position. The game manages to make statues, clocks, and ordinary rooms threatening. When a horror game can make you afraid of an inanimate object without relying entirely on gore or monsters, it’s doing something right. [h2]The problem: this still feels like a flat-screen game ported to VR[/h2] Unfortunately, MADiSON VR also constantly reminds you that you’re playing a flat-screen game that was ported to VR rather than a game designed around VR from the beginning. garbage! do not buy this junk its so borring not scary at all i cant believe so manny have said this was scary i guess if your biggest fear is living with a horder that doesnt clean there house and opening doors is a big problem for you then yeah i guess its scary....

This is the kind of game that's paced to beat the refund timer by making progress difficult, backtracking, and slow sequences.

The exact kind of horror I've been looking for in all the games and movies I've seen. perfect perfect perfect. I aint lookin for a Resident Evil type experience with high stress shooting and consumable management. this game is extremely immersive and impressive with graphics and audio. the story and all of its branches and details are extremely captivating, the scares have great psychological build up and are not overdone most the game. moments like the well in the basement, Madison standing where the statue used to stand, and Blue Knees peaking around the corner were top notch. the lighting is a little too realistic and the camera flash is such a great gimmick, the best horror i personally enjoy and have experienced. 1000/10. I would almost compare it to Ari Aster's Hereditary, in hopes to draw in that kind of horror fan to this game
