Magicians And Monsters

Yeah its a good monster capture arena fighter, you have skills in magic, sword and also can fly. Magic is continually used by your skills, so you have to manage the use of magic, also you can use the sword yourself or let it loose. It has a nice character and pet exp growth with many choices of where to put points into your build. All in all simple but also deep character building game that's fun with competent fighting action, nice visuals and strategy to grind the many levels of the tower.

Honestly all the trappings of a good game are there. It has everything I want. But there are some major issues. Hit boxes are absolute garbage I mean hot trash so bad I don't think I can stop smelling it. The graphics are a bit outdated but that's fine I can live with that. The difficult spike on some floors is absolutely insane especially on the lower floors. Which is fine just something to take note of. next issue, flying the controls are inconvenient and not intuitive. Last issue the capture mechanic can we just get something like pokeballs like just have the talisman fly out where you are aiming and work its magic. If the issues I mentioned get fixed this game would go from a 4/10 to an (7/8)/10 easily. But as it is now I can't reccomend,

It loads, but doesn't work. The only button you can press is "lmb" and after that, the character gets stuck. Even though there are no monsters. Противников в игре нет. Вообще ничего нет. Только персонаж, огромная пустая арена и неработающая игра. (Смена языка, офк, не помогла)

This is a grindy game but the grind is rewarding and tied to char progression so it is a grindy good game, with female protagonist. Story is simple, just get stronger climbing up the pagoda floors filled with monsters. Gameplay is also simple there is no walking around talking to npcs, straight to killing monsters in the pagoda floor, the space is quite spacious. It can be repetitive but since killing monsters over and over again is tied to character progression for getting stronger, it's more of chasing a goal to upgrade character stats. The combat itself is done surprisingly well, it involves kiting, range hit (magic) and melee (sword play), the rage hit after button mashing is the most satisfying when it lands especially on several monsters because it has huge damage but frontal line aoe. And when not in combat, the home screen/interface is for upgrading char stats, go to store, upgrading magic, crafting weapon, managing inventory. There is a pet system, every monster in the game can be tamed using talisman and leveled up. It can die, but we can revive it with a core from the same monster.
