Marblize

Just what I've been looking for in a marble game - good levels of difficulty, amazing scenery, great gameplay. There are a few things I'd change - it doesn't (as of v1.01) load up in fullscreen, and you have to click upon starting a level to get the mouse control in properly, but otherwise it's my new favourite game!

2/10 Grab it for 1$ if you want it, for this price just buy hamster ball gold. Way more fun and its 4 player

Marblize is a fairly lazy Unreal engine based shovelware marble rolling platfomer/physics puzzle game where you roll a ball around various obstacle courses and get annoyed and restart the level, blah blah. Uninspired stuff, delivered nominally. There's quite a few levels, which is good, but the quality of those levels is consistently low, which is bad. But at least this seems to be a sincere effort at making a video game and not an asset flip or a cash grab... it's just that no consideration was given to the state of video gaming when this was made. Like, why do Pac-Man in an era where games like Skyrim and GTA:V exist? How is this contributing to the state of the art? The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. Praise the Gods of gaming, they have looked down upon my retched digital soul and have lifted me and redeemed me of my platforming inadequacies. Lo! As the CRT lights of their brilliance shone upon me, they placed in my palms the grail of Platform Puzzle gaming “Marblize”! PRAISE YE THE GODS!!!! Marblize is a 3D platform puzzler that really brings nothing new to the genre but it’s done it so well it really dose feel like a fresh coat of paint. You, as a marble (Man, have I got one big ball), roll, skid, jump and slide your way through beautifully rendered platforms, some in woods, metals and even some as old fashion wooden colour blocks. On each level you will need to think and explore you way, finding triggers to push or set, or find powers to unlock alternative paths. In amongst this you have the choice to find coins and/or paints & patterns to unlock so as to customise you marble and deadly traps with no escape. To move around Marblize, requires you to use your mouse for looking (you are just above and behind your marble) and your WASD keys for movement but where ever you are looking with your mouse, it is the forward direction you will travel, so a bit of hand-eye co-ordinat…

Marblize is a mid game, with fun challenges and cool mechanics and puzzles. The music is cool as well, but beware as some of these songs are copyrighted on YouTube. Not really a good idea when you take Cynic Project's music. The major flaw of the game is the marble's physics and controls. The marble's speed is capped, it accelerates poorly and it's slippery. As a Marble Blast player, it's very hard for me to control it. Besides, it feels like the marble has air movement when it wants, which makes it frustrating at times especially after a jump. The slow roll is a good idea. About the different puzzles, they are interesting but most of the time, way too confusing. Maybe try giving some hints and make the puzzles with the blocks less punishing and rebarbative. The game has a lot of flaws, but it's built on a good base.

This game reminds me of Marble Blast Ultra but with a lot more cool features/abilities Added in,more customizations for your Marble,and with very interesting levels. But I would recommend playing this game with a controller but on keyboard it's just fine. I love this game and I hope there would be updates soon. I would recommend :)
