A city builder that has all the bells and whistles you know and love with one twist. In Megacity Builder you build a whole nation not just a city. Pass laws at the national level. Fiddle with the budgets at the city level. Build cities like in classic city builders while producing resources to feed your massive capital. "Megacity Builder" is an abandoned Early Access SimCity ripoff. The developer ran out of money before completing this, kept all the Early Access money he took from gamers, then made the game free as a slap in the face to everyone who paid for it. The game looks great because, well, SimCity 2000 was awesome, and this is a really close ripoff. Except it's incomplete and just lingering on Steam to pollute the place, I guess. I can't recommend incomplete games to gamers, even if they're now free. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. …2 found this helpful
Игра 'Megacity Builder' — увлекательный симулятор строительства мегаполиса. Геймплей сочетает стратегию и творчество: вы управляете развитием инфраструктуры, экономикой и населением. Графика стильная, но не перегружена деталями, а звуковая сцена добавляет атмосферы. Плюсы: разнообразие задач, возможность экспериментировать с планировкой. Минусы: сложность для новичков, ограниченные механики. Идеально для любителей стратегий и планирования. Рекомендую!
