About Miami Cruise
Miami Cruise is a game inspired by retrowave aesthetics.

You're a hovercar driver, on an infinite beautiful map, you need to dodge other cars that will come across in order to stay alive.
By getting close to them you will gain score and increase your combo, keep your feet on the accelerator if you want to keep your combo, and never get off the road too long or you might die.
Your score will be published on the leaderboard, will you be the best among your friends.. or maybe in the world ?
Take a ride, and chill out.

I enjoyed the game. I really, really did. But I have to give this a thumbs-down for one reason: This game is far too simple for it's asking price. When I say simple, I mean -SIMPLE-. There are games that I bought on Steam with this level of simplicity that cost a dollar or less. Look at Drift86. 2 bucks. The game is in Early Access and maybe more depth to the gameplay is planned. Keep an eye on it. It's like zipping down a road in Far Cry: BloodDragon. Very pretty, very chill. I just wish there was more to it. One final note is that using the Steam controller gives no analog steering controls. The game settings show a picture of an XBox controller so you would think it supports XInput controls. Maybe it does. Unfortunately, the Steam Controller does nothing in the game unless you configure it to use keyboard presses. Using analog emulation on the trackpad does help somewhat, but it's not as good as true analog steering.3 found this helpful
The game doesnt work. It has nice visuals and a neat soundtrack with an 80s feel, but the core gameplay is broken. Point of the game is to race fast, earn score by passing cars not hitting other vehicles. But the traffic AI doesnt work. It changes lane for no reason, crashes into each other for no reason goes off road for no reason. Because of this is very hard for you to predict how to drive properly. Since one of the core elements of this very simple racing game doesnt work there is no way I can recommend it. 1/101 found this helpful
I am very impressed by this game. First off I wanted to comment on some of the negative reviews about difficulty by saying that this isn't your typical grind to get the most money and cars type of game.. It is more like a "see how far you can go on one quarter" type of game. The difficulty is there for a reason. It is a mechanic of the game. This is the type of game where there are patterns and you learn and conquer those patterns as you play the game more and more. There are talks about repetitiveness and it is true, but what game isn't? There are plenty of powerups which alter gameplay and random map elements to make each run different than the last. That being said this game screams nostalgia. The visuals, music, and fast paced arcade action make me feel like I am playing a classic racing game on an arcade cabinet in a dark crowded neon lit room at 12am. This game is in early development so some things may change to make the difficulty different, but I like it how it stands. It is more a game of skill and relaxation than mindless grinding. For its current price of under $10 (again early development so price will probably go up around the time you are reading this), it is a…1 found this helpful
Game seems abandoned. No updates since years. I played about 1,5 hours. In this time you have seen everything. Sad, it had potential....
Looks so good. I love cruising around the grid
Relaxing aesthetic driving game with pew pews and power ups.
