About Mò The Frog
Mo the frog is a classic 2D platform in which you will have to committ fully to ho through many levels that are present in the game.
Dress the part of Mò the frog in the epic adventure to free Avalaar's kingdom from the oppression which the terrible Peter's the troll and his henchmen, the black captains, try to bring by conquering it. Cross forests, caves, cities and mountains and fight the three black captains to deal with tyrannical Peter in the end.
In this 2D platform you will dress the part of Mò the frog known as Mofrog, a little frog who has just become guard of the frogs' forest, who decides not to give in Peter's and his henchmen's tyranny but wants to fight guided by his more expert and older friend mo the crow through the regions of Avalaar's kingdom.
You will meet new friends ready to help you on your mission but also a lot of enemies and traitors who will do anything to ruin their plans. Going on in the game you will become increasingly stronger by obtaining more life and new powers with which you can face your adventure in a better way and travel through the levels that you've already overcome on a different light. This and more is mo the frog.

First impression: Seems to be playable game with fun characters and nice graphics. I really like the atmosphere on this one, its relaxing and nice to play. Definitely like old platformers :) What I'd like to have in full version is controller support and/or at least possibility to change controls on keyboard.5 found this helpful
The game can soft lock you at any point and fails to function at any level. Not to mention the truly abominable game design that can and will kill you cheaply and repeatedly such as enemies that sit on ledges blocking jumps and blind jumps to moving platforms that have zero indication on when and where they will stop. On the first level, there are boxes that are supposed to be moved to complete a puzzle the grab button doesn't work you have to mash E to get it to work 1 in a 100 times and then repeat the proses to release it. Later on, you have to climb a massive string of moving blocks that are on random cycles so they may never line up and as I mentioned above they will change direction at any moment and drop you to your death. On level 3 I was locked in a room with no way to progress because the wall jump doesn't work at all I tried for at least 20 min to get it to activate nothing. For fun I decided to look in the game files all the levels are right there so I renamed the files to skip the level and low and behold the wall jump starts working and also a double jump! I know its a Metroidvania but it never shows how to get new moves and you can soft lock if you don't have the…4 found this helpful

A classic, simple and even a little challenging experience. PROS: - Cool art directions, funny characters - Precious soundtrack - Tiny price CONS: - Some quality of life changes to apply, but hey, game still in early access! Definitely worth a buy2 found this helpful
