Yeah, this is about what you expect. I picked it up for under a dollar out of my weird curiosity and walk away with an emphatic shrug. This is an early-days-of-flash fighting game featuring a surprisingly large cast of varied characters with a number of potential actions each. It's not nearly as bad as it looks, but definitely falls short of being a "good" fighting game. The biggest problem for the game is a lack of progression... and I mean... there's none. You pick a player character and you pick an enemy. Win one fight and you go back to the title screen. There's a number of what looks to be hidden characters but heck if I know how to unlock them. Yes, I've only played for 11 minutes... but I've "Beat the game" with 13 characters with seemingly no progress. There's loads of characters to play as and to fight against. If there was an "Arcade Mode" that randomly pits you against 10 in a row, it'd feel like a game and I might leave with a smile on my face. But lack of progression makes this game unsatisfying at it's best. It's also probably worth mentioning that there's nothing resembling balance.
