Moushooter is a shooting game that combines the thrill of a light-gun arcade shooter with the immersive storytelling of a visual novel. Hundreds of years ago, the Waroid army posed a deadly threat to humanity, but was halted when their energy supply was cut off. However, after a sudden “Energy Crystal Disaster,” 18 mysterious Energy Crystals have appeared, reawakening the dormant Waroids. The energy waves released from the Energy Crystals have rendered human weapons useless, and civilization collapsed in an instant. I'm a huge fan of On-Rail Shooter games, but Light Gun / Turret ones are not usually my go to. In the comments of this review (and in my Profile Bio) I will provide a link to an On Rails list I've been working hard to categorize and organize them by types. So if you want more On-Rail Shooters that play like this one, or like others check it out! Now on to the review! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A nice short Light Gun / Turret On-Rails Shooter. The story, combat, and enemies are very simple, and straight forward. The characters provide a little distraction visually due to their clothing choice, and the dialogue can be a little entertaining, but hard to follow due to their language or accents. I managed to beat it all with skimming most of the story, with the time of 1.9hrs, 100% the achievements, with no deaths, with only the 2nd and 3rd boss being a challenge to actually nearly kill my "no death run". The ending after defeating the boss is odd, and not really to my tastes at all, making me really cringe pretty hard at it. But those who like NSFW Visual Novel with audio stuff might enjoy that.
