The gameplay is fine besides being very slow, but I guess it makes sense because I have a rock on my back. The later levels are too long and unforgiving. Every time you die you have to go back to the very beginning if the level, which is very annoying and is why I didn't finish the game (because I rage quit.) And I will never finish the game because there is no save option and I lost all of my progress. If there is a save option, it obviously isn't very obvious. If there were check points and a save feature, this game would be much better.3 found this helpful

It's conceptually like "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy" except not nearly as difficult or interesting. It's actually an extremely slow and dull game about a man who is forced to carry a boulder for all eternity (Sisyphus in Greek mythology). You have to put the boulder down to pick up blocks and create a path to the exit. Along the way he kills men with cheese heads for no apparent reason. Once you finish the game there are achievements but it's not clear if they unlock anything and they aren't tied to the steam achievements. Honestly, I'd go back and do them but the game is so slow paced it's really a drag to chug through. I still recommend it as a concept about a man having an existential crisis personified as a tragic Greek mythology figure, but as a game it's not really very fun.
I wanted to out this on PortMaster! But I didn't realize it was GoDot using C#. Do you have a PCK with all audio and everything tied together? If you'd like to have your game added to PMs library, check out our discord or contact me through Gmail. [email protected]
