cool game to play. I love how easy it is to add my music tracks. faster music like rock, metal etc. is getting better ported than slower music. you know, the things to hit are more in the beat of the music. it is more flowy. hope they improve the track building AI and make it possible to play the added musictracks in the tutorial room.2 found this helpful
This is the first game I've seen which has mapped rhythm movements onto actual monsters. It is very early days still, but we need games like Music Escape who play around with the typical rhythm game format so we can learn new things that work and don't. Plus it's super cheap right now and the nun-chuck weapon is a pretty sweet dynamic to play around with - challenging to get good at for sure!2 found this helpful
First of all..slicing evil robots bears? Yes! Thoroughly enjoying the 'no fail' aspect of it, it helps lean it twords more than just a game, in the sense that unlike in other games when you're exercising and having fun then all of a sudden you fail... Well you can't reset the exercise/fun you've done/had, you did it, so why can't you just keep going? Though I suppose an option to set it would probably make some happy. Also it seems [to me anyways] to require a little more precision and thought about where you need to be, the other game [which I'm sure this one has been compared to] has let me get away with some things I know I messed up. Secondly.. not having to wait for maps, or broken mods to get fixed so we can have fun.. Heck yes! I'm really excited to see how this game progresses.1 found this helpful
Music Escape is a pretty funny vr game with really beautiful maps which add a unique personality to the game. Even though the developer has a great margin in order to improve the game, at this moment is surprisingly enjoyable. I would do some small changes on the monsters' projectiles because sometimes you don't have enough time to block them so it feels a bit unfair. I hope tons of new maps will be added in the future.1 found this helpful
The devs have done a great job with the introduction of Combat Mode, big improvement from the previous experience which was maybe too similar Beat Saber. It's very original while combing both rhythm and combat genres into one extremely fun experience. If you're like me and want something a little bit more interesting and challenging to play, then Music Escape is what you're looking for, especially since you can just drop your music collection into it, it's a totally new and fun experience. Fun - 9/10: It's extremely satisfying to destroy hundreds of robot enemies with the included weapons Graphics - 8/10: The low poly environment is compelling, the abandoned amusement park feels like it's from the Westworld universe because you get to fight and kill robots Music - 7/10: The included music is ok, I haven't heard of any of the artists, but it's a 10/10 if you import your own music Gameplay - 9/10: There is already a lot of variation between three weapons in the game, and it's extremely fun to play the game because it feels like i am really fighting to my favorite music. i would like to see more weapons, maybe a gun like in Pistol Whip or Space Pirate Trainer Verdict - 9/10: I go…1 found this helpful
i love this game it allows you to be so in depth with the song and beat. I would gladly recommend this game to new comers for VR. Even the mods are amazing, so if you are looking for a VR game i would recommend Music Escape.1 found this helpful
