Mutus Meteora

Mutus Meteora is a zen like walking sim and art gallery experience. Your mysterious character walks around the exhibit viewing pieces of art, which get recorded in your collection. These can then be viewed separately. The images are only 2D pictures however and there is no description or interesting commentary associated with them, which was a shame. I got more enjoyment actually looking at the artwork whilst in game, so they really only serve as an indication of what you have and haven't seen. Most of the time they are next to the art, but there are a few that can be hidden within the exhibit. Every museum I have visited prohibits you from touching the exhibits, discouraging children from climbing all over them and damaging them. The bonus of a virtual gallery is that you can do what you want, so feel free to walk up them, knock them over on occasion, and explore to your heart's content. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts.
