Very fun platformer with a silly strange story. If you have a day to burn you'll like it.

Mycosis is a grim and atmospheric 2D action-platformer that immerses you in a research facility collapsing under the weight of a catastrophic fungal outbreak. Developed largely as a passion project by Tomáš Větrovský and published by Wietrack Softwork, the game leans into a claustrophobic sci-fi horror tone from its opening moments. You take on the role of a scientist trapped inside the quarantined complex, forced to navigate crumbling laboratories, dim hallways, and sealed-off test chambers while confronting the horrifying consequences of the infection. Fungal growths cling to walls, spores float through the air, and former colleagues wander the corridors as grotesquely mutated creatures. The environment does most of the heavy lifting in storytelling, transforming the facility into a living, breathing threat that is constantly reshaping itself around you. The gameplay balances frantic encounters with careful problem-solving. Mycosis doesn’t rely solely on action; instead, it asks players to approach each area with caution. Cool game, not boring to play :)

Brilliant take on classic games from past. Mycosis is hard where i shoud be, funny where it shoud be a dense where it shoud be. If you want nostalgia filled take on games from ´classical´ era of gaming, dont miss this gem.

At first glance it looks simple, but it quickly turns into a surprisingly deep mix of action, puzzles, exploration and light survival-horror inside a strange underground lab. It feels like a 2D take on Half-Life, with clear inspiration from older immersive shooters, but it has its own identity. You can solve things properly through puzzles, or just brute-force your way through combat if that’s more your style. What really stands out is the passion: interactive lab elements, terminals, little science-style interactions, and new mechanics, enemies and areas across its acts. There is plenty of weapons and gadgets that let you approach situations differently. It’s also clearly made with care by a very small (basically solo) dev, and that shows. Difficulty can be surprising at times, but manual saves help a lot. Exploration is rewarded, and there’s a constant sense that you’re missing things on a first run. On the downside, some UIs and stuff can feel a bit slow, and a few systems could be smoother. Overall, a genuinely creative and underrated indie game with a lot of heart behind it. Only recommended under a good discount, the game offers interesting mechanics and weapons but we don't get enough time to play around with them, there is a lot of unique weapons and tools you can use but i managed to beat the whole game by mostly using same 2-3 guns and occasionally throwing grenades. I feel like the game is too short and doesn't has enough unique enemies. compared to the amount of unique weapons and tools it offers. I also feel like with how items work in this game and what they do, it would be neat if the game offered something like a "survival" mode or another part where you manage these resources to survive. I hope developer will come back to expand on the game, at least to make more levels with designs which reward the player for using their weapons and tools with unique creativity, the electrical gun has an interesting way to kill enemies but you hardly get enough chances to use it for fun kills
