Hmm, I'm going to be honest, I never really had a chance to play this game properly because the playerbase seems to have moved on and I can't get an online match, I'm a friendless loser and have no one to play local multiplayer with, and there's not even CPU opponents or anything here, so honestly this review is based mostly on my random guesses as to the nature of this game and the impression I got just messing around doing stuff, but the game just honestly didn't "feel" like a fighting game to me, and I mean the lack of a ground attack and the way the movement in the air felt very "floaty" and undefined and like "however the physics of the situation plays out, man" rather than the fairly rigid predetermined stuff I'm used to just didn't "click" as a fighting game to me, and if I hadn't seen the Steam page describing this as a fighting game and you'd just handed this game to me and asked me what it was, I might have just called it a random party game or something not specifically related to any genre, but honestly this is probably a highly subjective assessment, and as an example, I was never good enough at Marvel VS Capcom 2 to be able to move in anything resembling an effective …2 found this helpful
You can only play with people through invite codes and the CPU doesn't ever attack. There is no setting to fix that. So since I'm the only person I know with this game, I'm out of luck. Also it's hard to get people to play NAIR with me because they think it's the hair product.
