Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Rawyokan is a short but satisfying one-button fighting game. The mechanics are simple—click to strike, click to block or parry—but don’t expect a ton of depth. Honestly, I found myself spamming the attack button most of the time and only backing off to let my stamina refill. That said, the game still manages to feel rewarding. The sprite work is clean, the music is great, and even with how basic the combat is, there’s something super satisfying about landing a clean parry chain. I caught myself going “OH!” more than once during fights. We beat all the challenges and unlocked sandbox mode in about 30 minutes. There are still a few variant skins to earn, so there’s a little more to dig into if you’re completionist-minded. Overall: If you’re into quick, arcade-style games with slick visuals and tight timing mechanics, Rawyokan is worth your time—just don’t go in expecting deep combat systems. Pros: ✔️ Satisfying, snappy combat ✔️ Great sprite work & music ✔️ Easy to pick up and play ✔️ Sandbox mode adds replayability Cons: ➖ Very simplistic mechanics ➖ Short playtime (~30 mins to beat main content) 🎮 Great vibes. Solid execution. Just simple fun.4 found this helpful
Game looks really nice, but unfortunately it gets bored rather quick; Gameplay is basically just mashing the left mouse button until you win. That's all there's to it. No timing mechanics or anything that would even remotely require a tiny bit of skill. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more games with the same aesthetics and good animations tho. Everything on that end is great. I just hope the next game will have a bit more depth in gameplay.2 found this helpful

Read the full review here: https://medium.com/@melgacius/rawyokan-indie-game-review-476c300ed634 Despite having good music and graphics, Rawyokan is short, repetitive and clearly better suited to mobile platforms. After an initial positive impact, it quickly runs out of mechanics and doesn't offer much to keep the player. Score: 5/10 Please follow my curator page for more indie game reviews here: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/28368700/
