Fingers crossed this $0.00 investment pays off

The controls are abysmal, and the boss fights feel unfairly difficult. A major flaw is that enemies can hit you through locked, passable walls, but you can't hit them back. These cheap mechanics totally ruin the fun. Pass on this if you want a smooth, fair platformer.

I play a lot of 2D platformers, sidescrollers, metroidvanias, etc and my past experience and my muscle memory is telling me that I should be able to make jumps I can't in this game. It killed me so many times in the first 10 minutes and was so frustrating to the point that I just noped out. I think there is a good game there I just couldn't get over the jump mechanics. The game severely limits it's horizontal jump in order to force you to use the teleport feature. A 50 pixel jump that you can make in every other game you can't in this one. I think the game would have been much better if they just gave you a normal jump and made some of the spike pits longer to compensate. I think do there might be a fun game under it all but I couldn't get to it. I would highly recommend you try the demo first to see if you are okay with how the movement feels first.

Do NOT recommend even though I got this game for free. I tried to play it but the controls just felt non satisfying nor smooth. I do not recommend buying this for any price whatsoever.

Might be OK with a controller. KB/M setup Sucks. Controls are abysmal for a PC game. I don't know if you can rebind them; and I don't think it's possible to make a set of rebinds that will make it feel good anyway. Whoever built this DOES NOT UNDERSTAND KB/M control schemes.
