Hikaru LaineA seemingly grumpy and cynical guy.For some personal reasons, Hikaru left his home and, over the last two years, lived in the streets as a thief. He’s pretty fast and also skilled in the petty theft. He runs into Aiko during one of these robberies and, due to his curiosity, he decides to follow the girl to learn more about her.Aiko Eichel She participates in the Tournament and, according to rumours, is one of the strongest challengers. Determination is one of her main characteristics: she would do anything to achieve her goal. She’s clumsy and always tries to do her best when it comes to approaching other people. Her being so naive often leads her into trouble. Kyoko GraedirKyoko’s at the head of the Tournament’s staff.
Her job is to keep an eye on the work of her collaborators. She’s also a doctor.
Aiko often calls her “mom”, implying that there’s a particular relationship between the two.
She’s very wise and insightful, but at the same time easily irritable.Minato StehaliAiko’s self-proclaimed big brother. He gets easily jealous when it comes to the girl and can't stand anyone who approaches her. Minato has an overwhelming personality: his manner of speech is so strange that it’s hard to know when he’s serious or when he’s joking. He also participates in the tournament and is always in the company of Ringo, his dog.Reko R. Vom BrandA mysterious Tournament challenger.

Right off the bat, let me tell you that Neko No Sentouki is a wonderful visual novel with a lot of passion, love, effort and dedication poured into it, which you can clearly feel every step of the way. There was someone here who really had a story to tell and deeply cared about not only their characters but also the craft itself. Does that mean it's perfect? No, but it's a memorable ride from beginning to end, that got me emotionally invested and is sure to stay with me. But let's dissect it in a bit more detail, shall we? [b]Story[/b] It’s told from two very distinct perspectives, one of which you can choose at the start: On the one hand, you have Hikaru, a seemingly grumpy and cynical young man living on the streets and getting by as a thief. And on the other hand, you have the very cheerful and naive Aiko who possesses superhuman abilities and takes part in a mysterious fighting tournament. By chance, the two of them meet and their fates become intertwined as they make a deal to further their individual ambitions.
