Love the games by cosmic void short but nice experiences, glad that dionous is publishing them. I am a sucker for such pixel art also, looking forward to his next games!

Developed by Cosmic Void and published by Dionous Games, Neon Hearts City is a story-focused point-and-click adventure that blends classic detective gameplay with a richly imagined cyberpunk universe. The game follows private investigator Elijah Crow as he accepts what appears to be a routine missing-person case involving a young woman named Audrey. I must admit: I was surprised how much I liked this game and how good is. [i]Neon Hearts City[/i] at its core is a classic detective story set in a cyberpunk dystopian city. You are Elijah, private eye and a “damsel in distress” asks you for help. Here it’s a mother looking for her missing daughter. You start investigating and soon it is clear that there is mor to this case then you expected... The story won’t win any prices for originality, but what they managed is to create a genuinely interesting world and atmosphere, that feels lived in and prompts you to ask questions, of which not all will be answered. This is not a small feat for a game with pixel-art graphics. It’s all done with the design of the city as well as the character and the extremely well-written dialog. There are a few minigames, fine for this kind of game and different ones at that which is also nice. The dialogues are all spoken and played and very well. While [i]Neon Hearts City[/i] is short game (around 2hours I would say) if you are a fan of point-and-click-adventures and cyberpunk it most likely will be a feast and something that will stay with you a good while after you played it.

I am a fan of Cosmic Void games, which meant that I had to give Neon Hearts City a try. I'm also a huge Cyberpunk fan, which just made me jump at it even higher. I'm glad to say that I'm not disappointed in this one as it has a very Blade Runner feel to it. Our protagonist is on the trail of a girl named Audrey by her mother, but the game quickly becomes one of memory, and androids trying to become human. Cosmic Void is known for shorter adventure games, and this one definitely is short. I finished it in under two hours, but the story was gripping enough that I had to get to the end.

Very cool point-and-click adventure. Probably my favourite of the Cosmic Void games so far. Well worth it if you enjoy the genre.

[b]Base game – 9/10[/b] Point & click adventure game with beautiful pixel art and background music. Interaction with objects/characters is simplified (just click) – I would prefer more complex ones like talk to, pick up, push, etc. I feel that the plot is a little bit boring but still the game is interesting to play. [b]Achievements – 10/10[/b] Although some achievements are missable, if you have experience playing adventure games, it's very unlikely that you miss them. And even if you miss any of them the game is quite short + you can save the game regularly in multiple slots.
