NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black

I haven't played the original version of this game (or any of the 3D Ninja Gaiden games besides this) but I have played other hack and slash games like the Bayonetta trilogy/Devil May Cry 5/Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. This is a pretty fun game although the camera can be a huge pain at times. I played on normal and I still found the game pretty challenging. Sometimes I could smoothly cut through a room of enemies barely taking any damage and sometimes the enemies bullied me and held my nutsack to a belt sander.

Another game ruined by Unreal Engine. Graphics are constantly noisy and stuttery due to textures popping in and out, and there is a massive amount of input lag, which is a dealbreaker in a fast paced action game like this. Also missing weapons and moves from the OG game as well. Unfortunately, that means the Xbox 360 original is still the best and really only way to play this game. Dont waste your money on this one

Tried to like this game but doesn't hold a candle to the original Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox which I already own. A pretty quick refund from me on this one. Also the performance was pretty suspect for my system.

I like everything about the game except the stroy and the camera angles. if you are looking for an unforgiveable difficulty then i think this game is yours.

To be honest everything about this game is extremely mediocre. Not only the combat and movement overall but even the story, characters, level design and music. The combat especially is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clunky and janky it's unreal. I don't know how people dare rank this game among other masterpieces like DMC, Bayonetta and GoW. Also the fact that they had the audacity to put parkour sections with the way this game controls... I played it until the end because I am a fan of hack 'n slash games and it's very hard to make obliterating a thousands enemies not fun but this is easily the worst game in the genre that I've ever played. I can't see how anyone without nostalgia glasses could call this a good game. Also for a remaster it's very lazy and disappointing. Ugly basic UE5 textures and unoptimized on top it. For some reason anything below 120FPS feels like ♥♥♥♥ and has a huge delay input so you have to adjust your settings accordingly. Drop to like 110fps and it will genuinely feel like below 60 for some reason.
