Kinda neat! There's definitely potential here. The graphics are actuaslly pretty awesome, although they could be more clear. The gameplay is pretty minimal. Walk, slash, throw kunai, dodge enemy kunai with roll. Mash sword to build adrenaline, use your own kunai to deal with kunai throwing enemies. Use adrenaline when filled to take out a particularly troublesome enemy/group of enemies. Health slowly depletes but is gained from collecting orbs on enemy death and hitting enemies. Ranged enemies require proper spacing because they will kick you away from them to avoid using them to fill your adrenaline, while the robots are kind of just fodder enemies to build adrenaline to deal with the ranged enemies easier. There's something there with the gameplay setup, just needs more. Speed the game up, add more enemy types, remove the boring slog at the beginning and put the player right into the action immediately. Speed up the player movement, give them more attacks. I can see the potential, just feels more like a work in progress. Not sure I would actually recommend this because it feels more like a tech demo, but a cool one with potential nonetheless. But I'm giving a thumb…1 found this helpful
Fun, although your character and all the enemies moves like they're wading through mud - least agile ninja ever.1 found this helpful
