Although, I'm a big ninja fan, I can't recommend this game. This game tries it best to look awesome, although it is lacking the fundamentals.First, controls feels stale and your character floats around.Second, the weapon system feels overambitious for a game that lacks solid controls.Third, is about the aesthetics. If you look at each individual art item, each and everyone might look good on it's own, but the items do not fit well together. There are multiple stylistic and aesthetic disharmonies. Low-fi meets hi-fi, 2D meets 3D art style etc. Overall, this game just feels unpolished and rushed. The game is also obviously "heavily inspired" by the leading games in it's genre.5 found this helpful
After playing the game for a bit, I can say that there is a lot going for it and against it. Pros: The weapon and gear system is actually really good. The way you can mix attributes of different items is really interesting and quite fun. Once you understand the movement, it becomes pretty fast-paced. The horizontal movement is good, but the vertical is lacking. Wall jump is only limited to a select few surfaces, and gliding in the air can be clunky. The game is not patched, there are multiple occasions where the game breaks, such as clipping out of bounds by dashing into the wrong wall. This kills the run. Most enemies aside from the main bosses have a pretty low IQ and predictable patterns. Especially with how fast Ninja can …1 found this helpful
Good idea, not a bad attempt, just doesnt hit the mark.
Just go play dead cells. Nothing interesting here.
I don't recommend this game as I got a refund. I think the only thing going for this game is how it looks. It really does not feel good to play at all. I am quite surprised by all of the positive reviews.
