February 5, 2012. A little girl named Seowon is reported missing from a playground. Police launch an investigation and question witnesses and suspects, but Seowon's case is never solved.
Twelve years after Senior Inspector Jeon Gyeong's retirement, she is visited by a young police officer: a woman who pleads with her to reexamine Seowon's case.
But with each uncovered memory, only one thing becomes clear: everyone in Seowon's vicinity was lying.

Features

  • Experience an imaginative reasoning system where players connect memories like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
  • Uncover passcodes, keys, 54 conversations, and two hidden truths.
  • Over the course of a 2-3 hour playthrough, players will learn why Seowon's disappearance is the only case Jeon Gyeong has left unsolved.
  • Also featuring an original soundtrack by Seongyi Yi, composer of Legal Dungeon and The Wake!

I'm sorry but this plot is so confusing in a bad way, if there was an option to give the mixed mark...

Honestly I have mixed feelings on this one. I'll give it a positive review as I did enjoy the game systems and the act of uncovering the mystery, however I felt like the core mystery/story this whole wraps around was woefully underwhelming. It's not bad per se, but the level of investment into solving it didn't match the payoff. A story based game needs to hit hard on the story and this one relies heavily on the game misleading the player to create mystery (with how it describes each person's relation to each other). The game lasts 2-3 hours and there is a replayable part to unlock a better ending. I'm not invested enough however to try for that better ending.

This was cute and fun as hell, I felt like an actual boss connecting those alibies

It took around 3.5 hr to beat the entire game (ignore the timing I left my PC running for 12 hours and went to sleep, oops). Amazing writing, its more heartfelt than it is pure investigation with twists and turns. The mechanics were certainly interesting, bit confusing at times but it does work in the end. I bought it on a whim and was not disappointed 8.5/10

What an emotional rollercoaster the game was! A very satisfying experience of figuring out who says what and when. You organise all the information in the correct order and the answers are all there. A bit confusing at some point but overall great
