Unfortunately, this game just copied many others. A search of "Nupu neko dev" on steam will reveal many almost identical scenes, and even the product descriptions are the same. Makes me very sad

no fox season is a psychological thriller visual novel that uses an intentionally charming premise to disguise something considerably more disturbing. Developed by mxrningstarr and published by Nova B12, it follows a young woman who encounters an injured fox while heading home from the store during a rainy day. Rather than leaving the animal behind, she secretly brings it home despite her parents having forbidden her from keeping pets. What begins as an act of kindness gradually becomes a strange and increasingly uncomfortable situation involving a mysterious fox-girl and questions about exactly what the protagonist has invited into her home. The strongest aspect of the premise is the contrast between cuteness and psychological unease. Feeding and caring for the fox initially seem like harmless activities, but the game's thriller elements make even ordinary interactions feel suspicious. honestly a very decent and not too badly made vn. i can tell the devs poured love into this, and its nice being able to almost see the devs choices with the coding and hud settings. the story is very compelling and i love how unique the art style is. def a game id buy full priced

Game runs well, short story with 4 different endings, none are truly happy but thats okay. Would I play it again? Probably not. Some reviews call it a stolen asset. i dont have experience playing these visual novels so I wouldnt know. Gonna go try the other games now!
