What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players universally criticize the game as buggy and poorly tested, with specific complaints including broken voice chat, malfunctioning flashlight mechanics, physics glitches, and painful audio quality. The overall sentiment is that the game feels unfinished and potentially AI-generated despite developer claims, with no redeeming gameplay features like sprinting, jumping, or basic customization options like mouse sensitivity adjustment.
Wow.... This was a horrific experience. No sprinting, no jumping, you cannot change your mouse sensitivity, the in game voice chat is horrendous and glitchy, and the whole game feels like it was an AI prompt with no actual testing of the gameplay itself.1 found this helpful
The entire game feels like it was AI generated. On the store page it says that only marketing material was AI generated, but the entire gameplay feels like the developer prompted an AI and then threw it up on Steam. The flashlight gets all screwed up when you crouch so you are unable to see anything after crouching a few times while playing the seeker. Trying to talk in-game results in ear-piercing screeching. "Finding" someone results in their body flinging around the map. Sound effects sound horrible and hurt my ears. It is a bug-riddled mess and the developer did not disclose that they used AI to make the game. It is not a game, it is barely even a tech demo. It is a blatant disregard for the player experience.
